- Born Justin Randall Timberlake on Jan. 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee
- Following his successful stint in the boy band *NSync, Justin Timberlake went solo with Justified in 2002. The album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the No. 3 hit "Cry Me A River" and No. 5 hit "Rock Your Body."
- Timberlake earned his first GRAMMY nominations for 1999 as a member of *NSync. He won his first career GRAMMYs at the 46th GRAMMYs for 2003 for Best Pop Vocal Album (Justified) and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance ("Cry Me A River").
- He made his GRAMMY stage debut as a solo artist that same year when he performed a medley of "Señorita" and "Funky Child" with Arturo Sandoval and "Where Is The Love?" with the Black Eyed Peas.
- Did you know? Timberlake co-wrote Rihanna's Top 20 hit "Rehab" for her 2007 album, Good Girl Gone Bad.
- In 2013 Timberlake participated in a series GRAMMY U SoundChecks events in Los Angeles. The singer hosted question-and-answer sessions with local students and performed live.
- In 2006 Timberlake donated an item to be made into a custom Nixon watch. Proceeds from the sale of the watch benefitted the MusiCares MAP Fund, which provides addiction recovery services for musicians in need.
